A Vistara flight from Delhi to Mumbai was landed on a priority basis at Mumbai airport after a technical glitch. The plane has landed safely and is currently being investigated.

According to the airline, a Vistara flight from Delhi landed on a priority basis on Wednesday after a minor technical problem. The airline said the plane landed safely and is currently undergoing inspection.

A Vistara spokesperson said in a statement, "Shortly before landing, a minor technical glitch was detected on Vistara flight UK 995, scheduled to operate from Delhi to Mumbai on August 14, 2024."

As a precautionary step, the pilots requested the air traffic controller for a "priority landing", and landed safely at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Vistara said, without sharing the number of people on board the plane.

According to Flightradar24.com, Flight UK 995 took off from Delhi Airport at 10.49 am and landed at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport at 12.29 pm. Vistara has said that all passengers have deboarded the aircraft and necessary checks are being carried out before resuming its operations.
