Kalyan is a popular actor and politician in Andhra Pradesh, but he is not the current Chief Minister. The current Chief Minister is Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Rautela's tweet was met with backlash from social media users, who pointed out that Kalyan is not the Chief Minister. Rautela eventually deleted the tweet and apologized for the mistake.

"I am sorry for the error in my previous tweet," Rautela tweeted. "I was referring to Pawan Kalyan garu as the CM of Andhra Pradesh because of his immense popularity and influence in the state. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused."
This is not the first time that Rautela has made a mistake on social media. In 2019, she tweeted that she was "going to the White House" to meet with then-President Donald Trump. However, she later clarified that she was actually going to the White House lawn to attend a Diwali event.
