Ukraine will not get long-range weapons, America rejected President Zelensky's demand

The US has rejected Ukraine's demand for long-range weapons. US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin said that long-range weapons (missiles and fighter planes) will not be successful in changing the course of the Ukraine war, so there is no benefit in giving them to Ukraine.

Austin said this in response to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's demand for long-range weapons to attack Russia. Meanwhile, the US has announced to give Ukraine new weapons worth $250 million.

Earlier, the President of Ukraine had appealed to the allied countries to ignore Russia's red-line warning and demanded long-range weapons for the Ukrainian army to attack. With these weapons, the Ukrainian army will attack the interior areas of Russia.

The President of Ukraine said this would put pressure on Russia to end the war. At the meeting of Ukraine's allies hosted by the US at Ramstein Airbase in Germany, Zelensky reiterated the demand for long-range weapons. Zelensky reiterated this demand when his army captured about 1,300 square kilometers of land in Russia's Kursk region. But Russia is also continuously advancing in eastern Ukraine. At present, fierce fighting is going on near the strategically important Pokrovsk.

The Western world-including the US-has kept Ukraine in the competition by giving arms and economic aid to that country in the war that has been continuing for two and half years with Russia. But Ukraine was not given long-range weapons, and the weapons that were given were also given a condition not to be used to attack Russian land.

America thus feels that the attack on Russia by Ukraine can lead to a third world war in which the heavy losses will be for America and Europe. But in Ramstein, the American Defense Minister Lloyd Austin said that after capturing Kursk, now the Russian army has to worry about saving its land.

The meeting also announced that Germany would give 12 cannons to Ukraine, while Canada gave 80,840 rockets. During the meeting, the American Defence Minister put the figure of three and a half lakh Russian soldiers killed or injured, while saying 32 Russian warships were destroyed or damaged during the Ukraine war.
