Ramakrishna Forgings Limited has received an order worth Rs 270 crore for Vande Bharat Train. The company said in a regulatory filing on Monday that it has received an order worth Rs 270 crore from a BHEL-led consortium for the supply of bogie frames of Vande Bharat train sets. RKFL said in a statement that the scope of the project includes the development and verification of a bogie frame for the sleeper version of the Vande Bharat train set.

According to the information, this order includes 32 train sets, each of which has 16 coaches and RKFL will produce a total of 1,024 bogie frames. The order worth Rs 270 crore is to be supplied to the BHEL TRSL consortium, the statement said.
