Additional Chief Secretary Mines, Petroleum, Industries, and MSME Veenu Gupta said that the Rajasthan Export Promotion Council, Center for Excellence for Conservation and Promotion of Blue Pottery, Logistics Park, and Industrial Development have decided to promote exports from the state. The exercise has been intensified to ensure implementation within the time limit.
Gupta said that in view of the urgent need to develop better logistics services from the state, space has to be identified and made available for the logistics park in the vicinity of Jaipur City. Similarly, keeping in view the unique identity of Rajasthan's Blue Pottery in the country and the world, the state government has decided to set up a Center for Excellence in JDA's work area for its conservation and promotion. Along with the announcement of this budget, it is a work that plays an important role in the industrial development of the state. The Jaipur Development Authority should inform by marking the fixed place for them as soon as possible so that further action can be started. He said that there is immense potential for investment in the logistics sector. To encourage exports from the state, logistic services have to be improved. Logistics services will develop better and standard services in the movement of industrial products.
Gupta directed the JDA and district administration to look into the possibilities of road improvement in the Prahladpura industrial area, the water drainage problem near Naveta, Kunjbihari Pura industrial area, and RIICO's new industrial area near Chaksu. Commissioner Industries and BIP Om Kasera stressed the implementation of the budget announcement as well as making available land as per requirement from JDA and district administration to promote industrial investment.
