The warm-up matches for the 2024 T20 World Cup, which will be held in the USA and the West Indies, have begun. In the warm-up match between World Australia and Namibia, only nine Australian players were on the pitch. The team prevailed by seven wickets in spite of this.

Hazlewood bowled a tremendous opening spell, taking two wickets in three overs without giving any runs. His second wicket Nicholas Devin was caught by fielding coach Borovec. Australia achieved the target in half of the scheduled overs. Australia's next practice match will be against West Indies on Thursday.
