Suresh Oberoi speaks on Vivek's relationship with Aishwarya
Ram Gopal Varma told me about it; Even today we have good relations with Salman-Amitabh. Veteran actor Suresh Oberoi was seen in the role of Ranbir Kapoor's grandfather in the recently released film 'Animal'. Now in an interview he has talked about the famous relationship of his son, actor Vivek Oberoi.

He told that director Ram Gopal Varma had given him information about Vivek and Aishwarya Rai. In the interview, Suresh also told that even today he has good relations with Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.
‘I had explained to Vivek not to do all this while shooting’
In an interview given to Leharen Retro, Suresh said- 'I did not know about many things. Ramu had told me about this. Even before him, someone else had also informed me about this that so and so is…some friend comes. I had explained to Vivek not to do it. At least don't do it in shooting, do whatever you want to do differently, but now how much can anyone explain to anyone.
Aishwarya had gone to the Oberoi family's house to meet them.
In the interview, Suresh also told that Aishwarya had once come to his house with Vivek. Suresh said- 'When that girl came to our house, I liked it very much. What will you do if your son's friend comes home? Will you love me? I didn't know what was cooking behind it.'
I was never a friend of Bachchan Saheb – Suresh
When Suresh was asked whether this history of Vivek and Aishwarya had any impact on the relationship between him and Amitabh? So Suresh said- 'I was never a friend of Mr. Bachchan. I was just his co-star. Our relationship was industry wise. Yes, he invited me to his birthday. And many things we don't even let people know but whenever we meet, we get along very well.
‘Salman respects me, I respect Salim Bhai’
Suresh further said- 'Even today in the industry, if we meet Bachchan Saheb or Salman Khan, we meet very well. Salman respects me a lot. When he meets me, he hides his cigarette behind his back and talks to me with respect. I respect Salim Bhai a lot. Vivek touches his feet. Now if something happens, it happens. Our relations will not get spoiled by that, will it?
Recently Vivek and I met Abhishek-Aishwarya.
It is not that if all this happens then I will not talk to Salman, Amitabh or Aishwarya. Recently Vivek and I met Abhishek-Aishwarya at an event and we got along very well. Abhishek calls my daughter Meghna from a distance and meets her. There is no hatred between us. Let bygones be bygones.'
Aishwarya and Vivek worked together in the year 2004 in the film 'Kyun.. Ho Gaya Na'. Both of them started dating each other from this film. However, later due to dispute with Salman, Vivek and Aishwarya broke up. Amitabh Bachchan was also in an important role in 'Kyun Ho Gaya Na'.
