Sunny Deol does not take money, my 2 crores are sitting suppressed for 27 years: Filmmaker Suneel Darshan

Famous filmmaker Suneel Darshan has made serious allegations of cheating on Sunny Deol. Suneel Darshan says that Sunny Deol has been holding on to his Rs 2 crore for 27 years. For which he has also filed a case in the court. Suneel says that Sunny had taken the prints of the film from him in 1996, saying that he would pay the money a day later. That one day hasn't happened yet.

Suneel Darshan said in an interview with a newspaper, in the year 1996, Sunny was shooting for his film 'Ajay'. He asked me for the rights to overseas distribution for the film 'Ajay'. He told me that he was going to London to arrange the money. As soon as the money is arranged, he will buy the print of the film from me. His man came to take delivery of the print but did not bring the payment. Sunny said on the phone that the bank is closed on Christmas holidays in London, so the money was not settled. He will give the money in a day or two. I trusted him and gave him the print.

Suneel said that after a few days, I started demanding my money from Sunny. I kept asking Sunny for money for several months. I used to go to his set continuously but he used to avoid it by making excuses. Darshan said that for 4 years he kept running after Sunny. When Sunny did not give the money in any way, I approached the court.

Sunny said in court that he does not have the money to return, so he will do a film with me. All this was just his way of avoiding things. It has been 27 years now. Even today I am making rounds of the court but I am not getting my money.
