Heavy rain and subsequent floods in Bangladesh have made peoples' condition miserable. People are in bad condition due to heavy rains and then flood in 12 districts of this country. Flooding in Bangladesh disrupts people's lives and thereby gives them a lot of trouble. These floods in Bangladesh are a severe jolt to the already striving economy of the nation. Along with it, there is also a loss of life and property. So far, 59 people have been killed due to heavy rains and floods in this country. This death toll may still be increased.
The flood in Bangladesh has accordingly affected the country's around 60 lakh people. The levels of rivers have also risen with the floods in the affected districts. Whatever the case, the water is filling up on the roads and this water has also entered into the houses of the people. Due to water, other belongings of many people's houses have also been destroyed.
Floods have caused many Bangladeshis to be homeless. Due to this disaster, it has been reported so far that about 8 lakh people are homeless in Bangladesh. Many of them have taken shelter in different shelters to save their livelihoods. A large number of people's crops, shops, and many other businesses have also been damaged.
In the midst of this disaster in Bangladesh, the country's Army, Navy, Coast Guards, Border Guards, Fire Service, Police, and many NGOs have started rescue work. People affected by the floods are being helped. Needy people are being taken to a safe place, where arrangements are being made for them for food and water and other essential items. People trapped in the flood have been evacuated from the flood-affected areas and taken to safe places. The government is also providing financial assistance to the needy people.
