Former Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede, who arrested Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan in the Cordelia Cruz drugs case, has gotten into trouble. The CBI has registered a corruption case against him. Now the Bombay High Court has been approached to make actor Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan also accused in this case.

CBI registers FIR against former NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede and five others on charges of bribery and extortion in connection with Aryan Khan's arrest in 2021. A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed in the Bombay High Court seeking the inclusion of Shah Rukh Khan's name as an accused in the CBI FIR. This petition has been filed by Rashid Khan Pathan.

The Bombay High Court will hear Rashid's petition on June 20. According to the petition, Wankhede has been accused by the CBI of taking a bribe of Rs 50 lakh to favor Aryan Khan. The petitioner contends that the law provides for prosecution and punishment of the person giving the bribe, therefore, through co-accused KP Gosavi, Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan are also accused of giving a bribe to Sameer Wankhede. as should be included in the case.

"As per section 12 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, the person giving the bribe is also accused of abetting corruption and is liable to prosecution and punishment," the plea said. In this petition, a demand has been made to hand over the responsibility of the investigation from the hands of the CBI to the Special Investigation Team (SIT).

Along with this, in another complaint, the petitioner has also sought action against the Mumbai Police officials who gave a clean chit to Wankhede. The petition cited a Supreme Court judgment saying, "prosecution of the offender is the responsibility of the state." The petitioner Rashid has claimed himself to be a human rights activist.

Explain that former Mumbai NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede is accused of allegedly demanding a bribe of Rs 25 crore from superstar Shah Rukh Khan for not implicating Aryan in the drugs case. However, Wankhede has rubbished the allegations and accused them of being framed.
