The troubles of former Pakistan PM Imran Khan are not taking the name of abatement. After the arrest of Imran, many big leaders of his party are being clamped down.

Pak media reported that the Cyber Crime Circle of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has registered a new case against senior leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

PTI leaders have been booked for allegedly running a 'false campaign' against government institutions on social media platforms. The leaders who have been booked include former finance minister Hammad Azhar, Musarrat Jamshed Cheema, former deputy speaker of the National Assembly Qasim Suri, former Punjab governor Umar Sarfaraz Cheema, senator Azam Swati, Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) K Ali Zaidi and Fawad Chaudhary, former Senior Vice President of PTI.

According to FIA officials, the leaders who were booked were called for an explanation last month, but none appeared before the probe agency. The official says that the leaders have not even given their answer in this regard.

The officer said that considering the evidence and the statements of the leaders, a case has been registered against them. Pakistani channel Geo News quoted an FIA official as saying that teams have been formed to arrest these leaders.

Let us tell you that after the attacks on military installations including Lahore Corps Commander House (Jinnah House) and General Headquarters (GHQ), many PTI leaders are facing cases including sedition and terrorism cases.

Meanwhile, PTI chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan is lodged in Attock jail after being sentenced to three years in jail in the Toshakhana case by a trial court in Islamabad earlier this month.
