Russia will maintain friendship with India, Pakistan-China tension will increase

India and Russia have been friends for a long time and this is also well known. Both countries have also developed a friendship with each other and have also supported each other when needed. When many countries imposed sanctions on Russia because of the war against Ukraine, India started buying large quantities of crude oil from Russia, which helped Russia's economy. In such a situation, Russia also started supplying oil to India at a discount. It is the result of the friendship between the two countries that Russia will fulfill the promise made to India and that too on time.

India and Russia have been partners in many sectors for a long time. This includes defense as well. India and Russia signed a deal in October 2018 because of being partners in defense sectors. It was a defense deal and according to this deal, India bought 5 S-400 Air Defense Systems from Russia. Two of their units were delivered to India in December 2021 and one unit in April 2022 by Russia. The remaining two units were scheduled to be delivered to India by the end of 2023 or by 2024. Recently, Dmitry Shugaev, Chief of Russia's Military-Technical Cooperation, informed that India will be given the delivery of the remaining two S-400 air defense systems on time.

This move by Russia will increase the tension between Pakistan and China. Actually, the S-400 air defense system is a system that can stop many dangerous missiles as well. This system stops those missiles in the air itself. It can also be used against ground targets. India has already deployed these systems along the borders with Pakistan and China and can also deploy new systems along the borders with both countries. This can increase the tension between Pakistan and China.
