Ram Mandir: Which divine ornaments and clothes were the special adornments of Ramlala

Ramlala in the form of a five-year-old child was specially decorated. They were decorated with divine ornaments and clothes. These ornaments were prepared according to the scriptural beauty of Shri Ram described in many texts including Ramayana and Ramcharitmanas. Ramlala has a golden bow in his left hand. It has pendants of pearl, ruby and emerald. There is a gold arrow in his right hand. A garland with colourful flower patterns was worn around the neck. There is a golden canopy over the aura of Ramlala. The traditional Mangal Tilak on the forehead was made with diamonds and rubies.

On the head is a gold crown studded with rubies, emeralds and diamonds. The Sun God is depicted in the middle of the crown. Earrings and other jewellery were made according to the design of the crown. These peacock figures are adorned with gold, diamonds, rubies and emeralds. The Kaustubhamani on Ramlala's heart (chest) is made of large rubies and diamonds. There is a scripture that Lord Vishnu and his incarnations wear Kaustubhamani on their hearts.

Ramlala is wearing a necklace above the navel lotus. It has special importance in the adornment of deities. This is a Panchalada of diamonds and emeralds, which has a big pendant below it. Ramlala is also wearing a long necklace made of gold. It is worn as a symbol of victory. In this, the auspicious symbols of Vaishnav tradition, Sudarshan Chakra, Padmapushpa, Conch and Kalash are shown.

Lotus, Champa, Parijat, Kund and Tulsi, the favourite flowers of the five deities, were also decorated. The girdle around Ramlala's waist is studded with gems. Five small bells have been installed in it to give a sense of purity. There are gem-studded bracelets on both hands a walking stick and gold anklets on the feet.
