Rajinikanth's Humble Goodbye Gesture

While shooting for "Jailer," Rajinikanth, known as Thalaiva, wrapped up his scenes and assumed that Shroff had also finished. He made his way to his car but then discovered that Shroff was still shooting. Without hesitation, Rajinikanth retraced his steps through a bustling crowd of 500 people to personally bid Shroff goodbye. Jackie Shroff expresses his astonishment at Rajinikanth's humble gesture, emphasizing that this act exemplifies why Rajinikanth is revered as Thalaiva, possessing a heart as pure as his mother's.

Shroff acknowledges that their friendship goes back a long way, originating from their collaboration on the film "Uttar Dakshin," where Rajinikanth played Shroff's younger brother. Shroff fondly describes Rajinikanth as a simple, down-to-earth, and exceptionally humble individual, not only attending his wedding but also forming a deep connection that transcends physical meetings.

Speaking about their bond, Shroff suggests that the depth of their connection is conveyed through their eyes, regardless of the time that has passed since their last meeting. Shroff's admiration for Rajinikanth extends to his experience working together on "Jailer," where Shroff portrays a negative character. The film, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, features an ensemble cast including Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, and Malayalam actor Vinayakan. The music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Notably, veteran actors Mohanlal and Shivarajkumar make cameo appearances in the movie.
