Monsoon has kept many places in Pakistan in bad condition. Many places in Pakistan are inundated due to the heavy rains and floods caused by monsoon. It has clogged life for the peoples. Besides, Cyclone Asna is also likely to hit Pakistan soon. Asna is at quite a short distance from many cities in Pakistan. According to the Meteorological Department of the country, as Asna does not directly present any threat towards the coastal areas of Pakistan, therefore strong winds and torrential rains are likely in many cities of Sindh and Balochistan today. But on Friday, monsoon rains occurred in many places in Pakistan with loses of life and properties.
People were severely hit by the torrential monsoon that lashed in Pakistan on Friday. At least 24 people died due to this. Equally, a plethora of people was gravely injured because of it.
The losses-both in terms of lives and property-started pouring in along with the torrential rains of the monsoon in Pakistan on Friday: heavy rainfall, collapse of roofs of many houses, destroyed kutcha houses, broken sewers and dams, formation of potholes on roads, and a lot of damaged belongings of many people.
