He said “It is great to meet again in Tokyo. Our last Quad Foreign Ministers' meeting was held in New York 10 months ago. During that time we have met each other bilaterally or on the occasion of other programs. However, our systems, led by our Sherpas, are constantly interacting. So there is a lot to talk about, agree on, and plan ahead today.”
S Jaishankar further said that it is a big challenge for us to ensure global economic growth as well as reduce risk. Our supply chains are particularly focused on resilience. As we emphasized reliable and transparent digital partnerships, there was extraordinary publicity in the technology sector as well. The way we live, think, and work, we have similar possibilities today or rather we are standing in the midst of re-globalization.
S Jaishankar also gave a strong message to America, Japan, and Australia in which there was a sense of QUAD's being firm, working strongly, and moving forward. India said that it is only such cooperation that can ensure that the Indo-Pacific region remains free, open, stable, secure, and prosperous. The commitment we have all made to global security has an echo beyond this border. Therefore, it is important to strengthen political understanding, increase economic partnership, and increase technological cooperation. Increase ease between our people. He said that a strong message should go to the world that the Quad is here and is doing its work and is moving forward strongly.
