This huge consignment of IEDs was recovered a few days after a terrorist attack in the Kandi forest area of Rajouri. Five soldiers were martyred in the Rajouri terror attack incident. Kashmir Zone Police has informed about the recovery of this IED by tweeting.

The search operation started on Friday to nab terrorists in Rajouri of Jammu and Kashmir is continuing on Sunday as well. Five soldiers were martyred on May 5 during 'Operation Trinetra', an anti-terrorist operation by the Indian Army being run jointly with the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the CRPF. After the Rajouri terror attack, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh visited the Infantry Division Headquarters in Rajouri on Saturday.
