PM Modi may take part in the "Bharat Shakti Exercise," which all three armies will conduct together in Pokhran

The joint exercise 'Bharat Shakti' of the three services of the Army will be conducted on March 12 in Pokhran, Rajasthan. This will showcase the capability of indigenous defence equipment. A top Army officer said on Saturday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to participate in the exercise.
Major General CS Mann, Additional Director General, Army Design Bureau, said that in the Bharat Shakti exercise, the three Army units will also showcase the capability of indigenously manufactured defence equipment.
He said that the joint capability and manoeuvre exercise of the three armies would be conducted at Pokhran for about 50 minutes on March 12. Major General Mann said the exercise will showcase joint operations of the services in combat operations through indigenous defence equipment.
He said that the combat equipment to be displayed during Exercise Bharat Shakti will include LCA Tejas, ALH MK-4, Mobile Anti Drone System, T90 Tank, Dhanush, K9 Vajra, and Pinaka.
Major General Mann said that after practising the firepower of the combat equipment, other equipment will be demonstrated. He said that these joint operations will be decisive for indigenous equipment.
Major General Mann said that efforts are being made to showcase the indigenous capability and capabilities of the three services to counter any threat at the global level through defence equipment capability and maneuver demonstration.
