Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated development projects worth Rs 15,000 crore in West Bengal. PM Modi inaugurated these projects at an official event held in Krishnanagar in Nadia district. Addressing the program, he said that these initiatives aim to make West Bengal a developed state. These projects will accelerate the economic growth of West Bengal and create employment opportunities, he said. Along with this, the Prime Minister has also attacked the Mamta government. Governor CV Anand Bose was also present in the program.

The Raghunathpur Thermal Power Station Phase II (2x660 MW) of Damodar Valley Corporation, situated in the Purulia district, was dedicated by PM. He gave the Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) system at Mejia Thermal Power Station, which cost Rs 650 crore, its official opening. Additionally, PM Modi opened the four lanes on the NH-12's 100-kilometre Farakka-Raiganj stretch, which cost Rs. 1,986 crore to build.

Four rail projects in the state valued at over Rs 940 crore were dedicated to the nation by Prime Minister Modi. These include the Damodar-Mohashila line's doubling, the Bazarsau-Azimganj rail line's doubling, the third line between Rampurhat and Murarai, and a new line that connects Azimganj and Murshidabad.

PM Modi has strongly attacked the Mamata government. The Prime Minister said that TMC is not happy with AIIMS-Kalyani and is making environmental clearance an issue. The people of Bengal are disappointed with the way the TMC government is functioning. PM Modi said that mothers and sisters are being tortured in Sandeshali. It is being condemned across the country. The mothers and sisters of Sandeshkhali are pleading for Mamta, but no one is coming forward to help them. He said that in the coming times, the public will teach these people a lesson.
