The terrorist attack took place during a concert at the Crocus City Hall near the Russian capital Moscow. The terrorists fired indiscriminately at the people. More than 60 people died in this attack, while more than 100 were injured. After the firing, there was an explosion in the hall, due to which there was a fire. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has criticized this terrorist attack in Moscow.
Posting on social media platform X, PM Modi said, "We strongly condemn the terrorist attack in Moscow. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims. India stands with Russia in this hour of grief."
This attack has been attributed to the terrorist group Islamic State. Over 60 people lost their lives as a result of gunfire during the concert, which was reported to have been started by three to four gunmen. Following the gunshot, some people fled through the basement, while others made an attempt to hide on the terrace. The hall caught fire as a result of the attackers' use of explosives. As per the report, hundreds of people have been held captive by the terrorists.
This attack has been classified as a terrorist attack by the Russian Foreign Ministry. Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova has denounced the attack. "This is an act of terrorism. The world community needs to denounce this heinous act," he declared. It is being told that the terrorists had entered the concert in the uniform of security forces.
On this terrorist attack in Moscow, America's White House said that at present there is no indication that Ukraine or Ukrainian people are involved in the firing. America's National Security Officer John Kirby said that America is keeping an eye on this attack.
