Pixel 8 series smartphone and Pixel Watch 2 launched

Tech giant Google has launched its flagship Google Pixel 8 series in its Made By Google event. Under this series, the company has introduced Google Pixel 8 and Google Pixel 8 Pro. Along with the smartphone, the company has also introduced Pixel Watch 2. With Pixel 8 series, there is AI support in camera and processor also. Both smartphones are equipped with Tensor T3 processor, car crash detection, temperature sensor and built-in VPN. Pixel 8 supports 6.2-inch display and Pixel 8 Pro supports 6.7-inch display.

Pixel 8 Series price
Google Pixel 8 has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 75,999 and Google Pixel 8 Pro at a starting price of Rs 1,06,999. The phone has also been made available for pre-order. The price of Google Pixel Buds Pro is Rs 19,990 and the price of Pixel Watch 2 is Rs 39,900.

Specifications of Google Pixel 8 Pro
Talking about Pixel 8 Pro, it comes with a 6.7 inch Super Actua display. The display supports 120 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 2400 nits. Pixel 8 series smartphone has been introduced with glass finish. The company's in-house Tensor G3 processor is available in the series. The processor has support for AI and machine learning. There is also a new call assist feature in the Pixel 8 series. Temperature sensor is also supported in the phone. Android 14 is available in Pixel 8 series and the company is going to provide 7 years of OS upgrades and 7 years of security updates. That means the series will get updates till 2023.

Talking about camera setup, Pixel 8 Pro has 50 megapixel primary camera, 48 megapixel ultra-wide, 48 megapixel telephoto lens, with the support of 10X zoom. The phone has an autofocus front camera, which is a 10.5 megapixel sensor. Google has called the camera of Pixel 8 series a magical camera.

The company says that with Pixel 8, sharp videos can be captured even in low light. Along with this, there is support of AI capability and Audio Magic Eraser, with the help of which background noise can be removed. Many AI editing features are also available with photos. Best Take feature is also available in Pixel 8 series, with the help of which users can click perfect group photo. In this feature the photo can be edited even after clicking it. Pixel 8 Pro has a 5050mAh battery, which comes with 30W fast charging.

Google Pixel 8 is equipped with a 6.2 inch Actua display. With this, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and peak brightness of up to 2000 nits is supported. Pixel 8 has also been introduced with glass finish. Display and processing features like Pixel 8 Pro are also available with Google Pixel 8. With this also, you get the same Android and software experience as the Pro variant. Talking about camera support of Pixel 8, it has dual rear camera. Its primary camera is 50 megapixels and secondary camera is 12 megapixel ultra wide sensor. There is a 10.5 megapixel sensor for selfie in the front. The phone has a 4575mAh battery and support for 27W fast charging.

Specifications of Pixel Watch 2
Google has also introduced Pixel Watch 2 along with Pixel phones. Pixel Watch 2 can be connected to the Fitbit app. Along with this, features like multi-path heart rate sensor, stress management system and automatic workout-tracking are included. Pixel Watch 2 has been introduced in Wi-Fi and LTE versions. The upgraded Pixel Watch 2 gets a new quad core CPU. It claims 24 hours of battery backup on a single charge. Support of Google Maps and Gmail is available with the watch.

Pixel Buds Pro
With the launch of Google flagship phone, Pixel Buds Pro has also received a new update. Buds Pro have also been introduced in two new colors. It will now also be available in Blue and Porcelain Hues color options. It is one of the first devices to use Bluetooth Super Wide Band. Pixel Buds Pro can auto-vamp audio and turn on transparency mode. With this, latency has also been reduced by 50 percent.
