Previously, the Indian Foreign Ministry was strongly critical of that. In a few hours, an action has been taken against his 'X'.

Naik resident of Malaysia began almost month-long visit to Pakistan on Tuesday. He also met the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif.

The Foreign Ministry's spokesman, Randhir Jaiswal said, 'We have seen reports that he has been honoured in Pakistan. He has been accorded a warm welcome there. It is not unexpected on our part that an Indian fugitive has been accorded a high-level welcome in Pakistan. It is disappointing and reprehensible but at the same time, not unexpected. Naik is wanted in India on grounds of money laundering and for inciting extremism through hate speeches. He fled India in 2016. The then Malaysian government headed by Mahathir Mohammad had given permanent residence to the Islamic preacher in his country.
