Parle ji packets will now have Instagram influencer's photo on them! Do you know which girl's picture was printed till now?
Parle G Biscuits: Parle G has changed the packaging of its very popular biscuits which have been running for decades. Now instead of the girl, the picture of an Instagram influencer will be printed on the packet.
Biscuit maker Parle surprised internet users when it shared a post featuring the face of an Instagram influencer instead of the iconic Parle-G girl on the cover of its packets. This amusing post was in response to a viral video by content creator Zervaan J Bunshah where he asked his followers a funny question. He released a video and asked, 'If you meet the owner of Parle, do you call him Parle sir, Mr. Parle or Parle ji?' In the video clip, Banshah is seen sitting in a car with a confused expression on his face while the catchy 'Ai Ji O Ji' track from Anil Kapoor's film 'Ram Lakhan' plays in the background. The video, shared three days ago, went viral with tickled reactions from Instagram users.
The video also caught the attention of Parle-G and the biscuit maker joined in on the fun with a witty comment. Parle-G commented on his official account, "Banshah ji, you can call us OG."
Later Parle-G also featured a smiling image of Mr Banshah instead of the iconic girl on the biscuit wrappers. The caption reads, "When you are wondering what to say to the owner of Parle-G, you can call us your favourite biscuit to enjoy with a cup of tea. What did Banshah say about this? Happy with this While replying to the post, Hokar Banshah said that he loved Parle-G biscuits in his childhood. “Indeed Bahahahaha Happy Seasons! On any trip, party, or meeting, whenever I get a craving for food, Parle Ji always nourishes me. Will keep doing it, even in fancy cakes there are ingredients! In childhood, I ate biscuits thinking that I would become smart. He wrote that you people gave 'culti' to it.
Internet users were also delighted by the heartwarming post with many calling the content creator lucky. One user wrote, 'Wow, this is an amazing gesture.' Another commented: 'This is not creative at all. A third said, 'What an honour.' A fourth said, 'Now we want to see Banshah's picture on every packet of our Parle G biscuits.'
Many people claim that this girl is Neeru Deshpande from Nagpur. Some say that this is Gunjan's hooliganism but all this is just a rumour. The Group Product Manager of Parle G revealed that the photo printed on the packet of Parle G is not of any human being. This is just an illustration created by Everest Creative in the 60's. It has no connection with any human being.
