Indian athletes have reached Paris to participate in the Olympic Games. For the stay of the athletes, France has built a sports village near Saint-Denis, Ile Saint-Denis, and Saint Owen, located about seven km north of Paris. Indian athletes are very happy to reach the beautiful sports village built at a cost of about Rs 1,339 crore, but the lack of food has spoiled their happiness. Actually, the food options for Indian athletes in the sports village of the Paris Olympics are very limited. Some of these Indian athletes are also completely vegetarian.

Indian doubles badminton player Tanisha Crasto said, there was rajma in the food today, but by the time we reached there, it was over. Now tell me what should we do? Some other Indian athletes have also complained about this and said that it is very disappointing that the food runs out soon. The Games Village has five separate halls for global cuisine, halal, Asian, and French food.

Indian boxers have reached the Games Village a few days ago. Veteran boxer Amit Panghal, who is participating in the Olympic Games for the second time in a row, said that the lunch was very bad. For dinner, Panghal asked his support team to arrange dal and roti and they are now dependent on this.

117 Indian athletes will participate in the Olympic Games, for whose stay 30 apartments have been provided in the Games Village. The seven-storey blocks are painted in the colors of the tricolor from outside. An official associated with the Indian team said that the players just want to enjoy the atmosphere here right now. When the competitions start, then they will think about it.

Athletes from host France live in front of the Indian block, which also includes star tennis player Rafael Nadal. On the left is the legendary Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic, while on the left are the Italian athletes.

Despite some shortcomings in the sports village, Indian athletes are enjoying the atmosphere here. Indian shuttler HS Prannoy is spending time on the banks of the river nearby. Hockey team defenders Sumit and Jugraj Singh are observing every part of the sports village. He said the entire sports village is very fun, we can spend our time anywhere. On the other hand, Chinese athletes like peace and they do not want any noise in their building. Their block is considered to be the most peaceful.

America does not want its athletes to go very far for food. That is why they are staying near the main dining hall. British athletes are staying in a small complex like Iceland. On the other hand, the athletes of host France are staying in three buildings.
