Pakistan expressed desire for talks with India while America supported direct dialogue
USA's Response To Direct Dialogue Between India & Pakistan: Recently, a response has also come from America on the topic of talks between India and Pakistan.
India and Pakistan are neighboring countries of each other, but how is the relationship between the two hardly hidden from anyone? India and Pakistan have been at loggerheads over various issues for a long time, but in the last few years, tensions have increased in bilateral relations between the two countries. India and Pakistan do not even have relations like normal neighboring countries. Pakistan's promotion of terrorism became the main reason for the rift in its bilateral relations with India. At the same time, in 2019, bilateral relations between the two countries soured even after the removal of the long-standing Articles 370 and 35A for Jammu and Kashmir. But recently Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif had expressed his desire to hold talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to improve relations with India.
Pakistani PM recently offered talks to the Indian PM. Shahbaz said that he would like to meet PM Modi to end the long-standing dispute between the two countries.
The reaction has also come from the US side on Pakistan expressing its desire for talks with India. Talking about this, Matthew Miller, spokesman for the State Department of the US Government State Department, said that he has always supported direct dialogue between India and Pakistan and still gave his support for direct dialogue between the two countries.
India has always been ahead in its relations with Pakistan. But the incidents of seeing the consequences of Pakistan's activities against India are not old. Also, the External Affairs Minister of India, Dr. Jaishankar (S. Jaishankar) has already said that until Pakistan ends its policy of terrorism, it is difficult for India to have normal relations with it.
