OnePlus, the popular smartphone brand, is gearing up to launch its first-ever foldable phone. The phone, which is codenamed "OnePlus Open", is expected to be released in the coming months.
The OnePlus Open is said to feature a 7.8-inch inner display and a 6.3-inch outer display. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and will have a triple-camera setup on the rear. The phone is also expected to have a starting price of Rs 1,20,000.
OnePlus is not the only smartphone brand that is planning to launch a foldable phone. Samsung, Huawei, and Motorola are among the other brands that are expected to release foldable phones in the coming months.
The foldable phone market is still in its early stages, but it is growing rapidly. Analysts predict that the market will be worth $84 billion by 2025. OnePlus' entry into the foldable phone market is a sign that the company is taking the segment seriously.
