Old social media post becomes a dilemma for Bangladesh's young pacer, BCB takes big step

Bangladesh fast bowler Tanzim Hasan Shakib had become a victim of people's hatred for posting a post against women on his social media.

Actually, Tanzeem had made some posts on social media a long time ago regarding women in universities and workplaces, which went viral recently. Now Tanzeem has also apologized for these posts. Also, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) talked to Tanzim and has decided not to take any action against this fast bowler for now.

The board said that his future posts will be kept under watch. BCB Cricket Operations Chairman Jalal Younis gave an update regarding the action taken regarding the arrangement. Bangladesh Crick Time reported that talks have been held with the cricket board and cricket operations director Tanzim Saqib.

Apart from this, the media committee also talked to him. We informed them about the post on Facebook. Tanzeem replied that he had not made such posts to hurt anyone's sentiments. Whatever he posted was not for anyone in particular.

If anyone has been hurt by this post, he apologizes to them. Tanzeem has taken responsibility for all its posts. He said that he does not hate women and said that his mother is also a woman so he can never be against women.

We (the board) have asked them to be careful. If he posts anything like this in the future, it will be monitored by the board. Tanzeem recently made his debut in the ODI match against India in the Super 4 match of the Asia Cup.
