Ola S1: Ola discontinues S1 electric scooter, will now sell only S1 Air and S1 Pro
Ola Electric has recently started booking for its most affordable electric scooter S1 Air (S1 Air). Along with this, the two-wheeler maker has discontinued the S1 electric scooter. This means that Ola Electric will only sell the S1 Air and S1 Pro in the Indian market. The purchase window for the S1 Air is currently live for the S1 Community and reservists only.

Ola has equipped the S1 Air with a 3 kWh battery pack. Ola claims that it can deliver a range of 125 km on a single charge. The battery pack takes 5 hours to fully charge.
The scooter comes with a hub motor that can generate a maximum power output of 4.5 kW. It can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in 3.3 seconds. While it can reach 60 kmph in 5.7 seconds. The top speed of the scooter is 90 kmph. It gets three riding modes - Eco, Normal, and Sports.
Talking about the features, the scooter will come with cruise control, and a touchscreen cluster, which will allow the rider to get various information and use other features of the scooter. Talking about other features, S1 Air comes with Proximity Unlock, Call Alert, Party Mode, Navigation, Vacation Mode, Digital Key, Document Storage, Profile, and Mood. To save costs, Ola Electric has reduced the screen resolution to 800x840.
The S1 Air comes with a flat floorboard which makes it more practical than the S1 Pro. Also, the grab handle is now a single-piece unit made out of metal. 34 liters of storage are available under the seat.
For braking, drum brakes are available at the front and rear. For suspension, telescopic forks are provided at the front, and dual-shock absorbers at the rear. Also, the alloy wheels have been replaced with steel wheels.
