Kejriwal will ignore ED summons for the fourth time, know what plans he is making

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal repeatedly ignores the summons sent by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the alleged liquor scam case. Till now, the clampdown has been tightened on many Aam Aadmi Party leaders in this matter. In this case, K. Kavita may also be interrogated. When ED sent a summons to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for questioning, he refused to go to the agency, calling it illegal. However, ED sent the fourth summons to Arvind Kejriwal and asked him to appear before the agency today i.e. Thursday, January 18. But sources say that Kejriwal will also not appear before the ED this time.

According to sources, Arvind Kejriwal will take stock of the party's preparations for the Lok Sabha elections in Goa for three days. According to an official of the Chief Minister's Office, 'As per the pre-planned programme, Arvind Kejriwal is going to leave for Goa on Thursday.' After a program, when Arvind Kejriwal was asked whether he would appear before the ED on Thursday, he avoided giving any clear answer and said, 'We will work as per the law.'

On this matter, Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar said, 'Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is behaving like a fugitive, but the law will reach him soon. The day ED takes cognizance of the procrastination, it will take strict action against them. Then Aam Aadmi Party will start playing the victim card.

When Arvind Kejriwal was asked this question after a program on Wednesday, he avoided giving any clear answer and said, 'We will work as per the law.'

Kejriwal has already ignored three summons of ED in the Delhi Excise Policy scam case. Before January 18, 2024, ED had called him on November 2, December 22 and January 3, 2024, last year. But Kejriwal refused to appear on all three occasions, calling the summons illegal and politically motivated.
