Kejriwal should remain CM even if arrested
Arvind Kejriwal

All Aam Aadmi Party MLAs have urged CM Arvind Kejriwal to remain the Chief Minister of Delhi, even if he is arrested by the investigating agency. The Chief Minister called a meeting of AAP MLAs on Monday.

After the meeting, Delhi Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said that all the MLAs present in the meeting told Kejriwal that even if he is arrested, he should remain the Chief Minister because the people of Delhi have given him the mandate to run the government. The situation seems such that we too will soon be in jail. So it is possible that Atishi will be kept in jail number 2 and I will be kept in jail number 1 and we will hold cabinet meetings inside the jail itself. We will ensure that the work of the people of Delhi does not stop.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED), which is probing money laundering in the Delhi Liquor Policy case, had summoned Kejriwal for questioning, but he did not accept the summons.
Kejriwal did not appear before ED, did a road show in Singroli

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal did not appear before the investigating agency ED on November 2 for questioning in the liquor policy case. Instead, Kejriwal sent a letter to ED asking it to withdraw the summons.

Kejriwal also questioned the investigating agency that you did not tell me in the summons whether I am a suspect or a witness. According to ED sources, the investigating agency may issue a fresh summons to Kejriwal.

ED had sent summons to Kejriwal on October 30 to come for questioning. Kejriwal had sent a reply to ED that this notice was illegal and politically motivated.

After this, Kejriwal reached Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh along with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and here he participated in a roadshow and rally.

Now read what Kejriwal wrote in the letter sent to ED

Kejriwal asked- Are you considering me a witness or a suspect?
In his letter sent to the Assistant Director of ED, Kejriwal wrote, It is not clear from the summons in what capacity I am being called, i.e. whether you are considering me a witness or a suspect in this case. You are calling me as the CM of Delhi or as the convenor of Aam Aadmi Party. It looks like it is like a fishing net.

Summons leaked to BJP leaders
Kejriwal alleged that this summons was sent at the behest of BJP. Kejriwal wrote- On the afternoon of 30th October, BJP leaders started saying that soon I will be summoned and arrested. I received the summons the same day in the evening. This clearly shows that the summons was first leaked to BJP leaders to malign my image.

As CM, I have many tasks where I need to be.
Delhi CM further wrote, 'Elections are going to be held soon in five states in the country i.e. Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Telangana. Aam Aadmi Party is contesting elections everywhere. Being the national convenor and star campaigner of the party, I have to travel for election campaign.

On the other hand, I am the current Chief Minister of Delhi. I officially have a lot of work due to the Diwali festival. Where I need to be. At the end of the letter, Kejriwal demanded ED to withdraw the summons.

BJP said- ED has called because Kejriwal is an ocean of corruption.
In response to Kejriwal's letter, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra held a press conference. Sambit said- Delhi CM asks in what capacity he has been called. So let me tell you, ED has called you because you are an ocean of corruption.

Patra further said that Kejriwal calls himself completely honest but he is completely dishonest. Kejriwal and his party do not trust anyone. The scam is worth hundreds of crores. When it is such a big scam then Kejriwal should be investigated.

AAP claims- Kejriwal may be arrested
