The presidential election is going to take place in the United States of America on November 5. The ex-President, Donald Trump, again became a candidate from the Republican Party, and on the other hand, the current Vice President Kamala Harris belongs to the Democratic Party. A few days ago, current President Joe Biden closed his campaign and announced his withdrawal from the election. He suggested Kamala's name for the next presidential candidate from the Democratic Party. Kamala has also got support from the party and now this support has also been stamped.

US Vice President Kamala now has collected adequate delegate votes to secure her presidential nomination from the Democratic Party for the upcoming election, announced the Chairman of the Democratic National Committee on Friday. The virtual voting process for about 4,700 delegates started on Thursday morning. 2,350 votes are required to secure the nomination and Kamala has got so many votes. The counting of the votes is going on, but Kamala is sure to become a presidential candidate from the Democratic Party in the upcoming election.

The nomination of the partys presidential candidate, Kamala, shall be formalized in the Democratic National Convention slated on August 19-22.
