Jyoti Mirdha is a popular figure in the Jat community, which is a major vote bank in Rajasthan. Her decision to join the BJP is likely to hurt the Congress's chances of winning the elections.

Mirdha's decision to join the BJP is also likely to have an impact on the political career of Hanuman Beniwal, the leader of the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP). Beniwal is a Jat leader and his party is seen as a rival to the BJP in the Jat-dominated areas of Rajasthan.
Mirdha had contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Nagaur on a Congress ticket but lost to Beniwal. She is now expected to contest the upcoming assembly elections from Nagaur on a BJP ticket.
The BJP's decision to induct Mirdha is a clear sign that the party is taking the upcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan very seriously. The party is leaving no stone unturned to win the elections and form the government in the state.
The Congress party, on the other hand, is facing an uphill battle in the upcoming elections. The party has been plagued by infighting and corruption scandals. It is also facing a strong challenge from the RLP.
