ISRO Chairman S Somnath flags off Rameshwaram Marathon, remembers former President APJ Abdul Kalam
Indian Space Research Organization Chairman S Somnath flagged off the Rameshwaram Marathon on Sunday. Under the leadership of District Collector P. Vishnushandran, a marathon was organized in Rameshwaram at 6 a.m. in which a large number of youth participated. At the same time, many big leaders of the country including Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Dr Kalam by remembering him on his 92nd birth anniversary.

On this occasion, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) Chairman S Somanath flagged off the Rameswaram Marathon on Sunday. A marathon was organized in Rameshwaram at 6 a.m. under the leadership of District Collector P. Vishnushandran, in which a large number of youth participated.

On the birth anniversary of Dr Kalam, Amit Shah remembered him and paid tribute. His journey from struggle to the top is a legacy not only for the country but for the entire human world.
It is known that former President Dr. Kalam was giving a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management, Shillong on July 27, 2015. During this time he suddenly collapsed and died due to heart failure. His contributions are still remembered as some of the best scientific and technological developments in the country.
