According to the Times of Israel, Parliament has passed a proposal for a 4-day ceasefire in exchange for 50 hostages.

An Israeli government official said that most of the hostages who will be released will be women and children. They will be freed every day in groups of 12-13 hostages. Israel will impose a one-day ceasefire in exchange for the release of every group of 10 hostages.

According to Hebrew media, the hostages that Hamas will release include 30 children, 12 women and 8 mothers. Apart from this, the New York Times reported that under this deal Israel will also release 150 Palestinian prisoners. In these, only women and children will get priority.

At the same time, Hamas said in its statement that under the agreement, Israel will also stop flights of surveillance drones over South Gaza for 6 hours. From 10 am to 4 pm, these drones will be able to fly only in northern Gaza.

Earlier, PM Netanyahu held a cabinet meeting late at night. Netanyahu said Israel would continue its war against Hamas, even if a temporary ceasefire is in effect with Hamas agreeing to release hostages. Hamas Chief Ismail Haniye also hinted towards ceasefire on Sunday.

Death of Hamas Chief's grandson
On the other hand, the Israeli army has claimed that they have killed Jamal Mohammad Haniye, the grandson of Hamas Chief Ismail Haniye in Gaza. This information was given in many media reports. A few days before this, Haniye's granddaughter had also died in an Israeli attack. She was a medical student at Gaza University.

Protest against deal begins in Israel
According to the report published by 'Jerusalem Post' on Tuesday night, the families of the Israelis killed in the Hamas attack on October 7 have started opposing any kind of deal with Hamas. His organization issued a statement. Said- If terrorists are released in exchange of hostages, it will be opposed.

The statement further said - If today we bow before the terrorists and release them, then what is the guarantee that they will not target us again in the future. The same mistake was made earlier also and now it is ready to be repeated. Terrorists should not be released at any cost.

Turkey also has a role behind the scenes
According to 'New York Times', Turkey also plays an important role in the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan himself revealed this. He said that his Foreign Minister and Intelligence Chief have been working for ceasefire for many days. Qatar's role is important in this.

Erdogan said- Let us hope that a solution to this problem will be found which will give peace to everyone later. We will continue to talk to all parties related to this matter in future also.

India in favor of independent Palestine
The humanitarian situation in Gaza was discussed in the United Nations on Monday. During this, India's Ambassador to UN Ruchira Kamboj said that India has always supported the creation of independent Palestine. He said that India is with every effort being made in the world to improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza due to the war.

At the same time, Hamas Chief Ismail Haniye has said that they have come very close to the deal regarding ceasefire. According to news agency AFP, Haniye has said that he has already given his answers regarding the deal to Qatar and other parties involved in mediation. US and Qatar officials have also admitted to the existence of a hostage deal.

Israelis are dying from the bullets of their comrades in Gaza
So far 66 soldiers of the Israeli army running ground operations in Gaza have been killed. According to the Times of Israel, there are many cases in which Israeli soldiers are dying from the bullets of their own comrades. This is called friendly-firing, i.e. firing done by mistake. In such cases, soldiers fire at the enemy during war but it accidentally hits their comrade.

The Israeli Army has said that it is investigating cases of friendly fire, so that they can be prevented from happening again.

At the same time, China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi has said that Beijing is a good friend and brother of Arab and Muslim countries. China has always supported restoring the rights and interests of the Palestinian people towards a homeland.
