Infosys CEO Salil Parekh gets ₹66 crore in FY24, salary increased by 17% from last year

Infosys CEO Salil Parekh gets ₹66 crore in FY24, salary increased by 17% from last year

Salil Parekh, Chief Executive Officer of Infosys, increased his annual salary by 17.3% to Rs 66.2 crore in FY24. This information was included in the company's annual report. Parekh received a salary of ₹56.4 crore in FY23. In the previous fiscal year, his annual salary was Rs 56.4 crore, down from Rs 71.02 crore in FY22.

During this time, Parekh's compensation package included fixed pay, variable pay, retirement benefits, and stock incentive value. Parekh's total fixed salary rose from ₹7.12 crore in FY23 to ₹7.47 crore in FY24. In FY24, he received a bonus of ₹19.75 crore, up from ₹18.73 crore the previous year.

Parekh's salary for FY24 also included ₹39.03 crore raised through 2,58,636 RSUs (restricted stock units). In contrast, during FY23, ₹30.60 crore was added to Parekh's remuneration through RSUs. Meanwhile, the average remuneration (MRE) of employees stood at Rs 9,77,868 and Rs 9,00,012 in FY 2024 and FY 2023, respectively. The increase in MRE in FY 2024 was 8.65% as compared to FY 2023. On the other hand, Infosys non-executive chairman Nandan M. Nilekani has voluntarily decided not to take any remuneration for his services rendered to the company.
