Infinix Note 40 5G launch date confirmed, will enter with wireless charging support

The Infinix Note 40 5G smartphone will be launched in India on June 21. The company launched the Infinix Note 40 Pro and Note 40 Pro+ in the country earlier this year. Now the smartphone maker is bringing the Infinix Note 40 5G. Infinix has also confirmed some features of the upcoming phone.

The upcoming smartphone will have an AMOLED display that refreshes at 120Hz. A punch-hole camera cutout is visible on the front of the device in the company's teaser images. It will have three cameras in the back. This phone can also be charged wirelessly.

This phone is already available in the Philippines. Similar features might be expected in the Indian variant. The smartphone may include a 6.3-inch display with a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, a peak brightness of 1300 nits, and PWM dimming at 2160Hz.

The Note 40 5G may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor based on the 6nm process. The chipset on the phone may be paired with IMG BXM-8-256 GPU. The handset is expected to have up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

Talking about the camera, it may have a 32MP sensor for selfies and video calls. The rear camera setup may include a 108MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and dual 2MP sensors.
