Indian origin student in Singapore did not die due to Covid vaccine, Health Ministry issued statement

Earlier this week, an Indian-origin student died in a sports school in Singapore. However, after the student's death, there was speculation that his death was due to the COVID-19 vaccine, but now a statement from the Singapore Health Ministry has come out on all these speculations. The ministry has rejected all speculations that the student died due to the vaccine, calling it false and irresponsible.

The ministry said that according to the vaccination records of the Health Ministry, the student had taken the last dose of Pfizer-BioNTech's COVID-19 vaccine more than 18 months ago. However, the COVID-19 vaccine is not responsible for the student's death.

It is known that Indian-origin student athlete Pranav Madhaik felt unwell during the 400-meter fitness trial on October 5, a day after which he died on Wednesday. At the same time, the school said on Saturday afternoon that the student died due to cardiac arrest. Singapore Sports School issued a statement in this matter saying that Pranav told the badminton coach that he was feeling unwell after completing the 400-meter fitness time trial on October 5 at around 6:30 p.m.

The statement said that after the student felt unwell, the coach asked him to rest, after which Pranav went to rest in a corner of the field. After this, the coach left the school after talking to other students. Later another coach saw Pranav and found that he could not even stand, following which an ambulance was called and his parents were informed. At the same time, the badminton coach has been dismissed in this case.
