Indian hockey team's second consecutive win in Asian Games: Beats Singapore 16-1

In the men's hockey match of the Asian Games, India defeated Singapore by a margin of 16-1 goals. Indian hockey team captain Harmanpreet Singh scored 4 goals in this match. The thrill of the match came when Mandeep Singh strengthened India's points tally by scoring 3 consecutive goals. Before this, India had defeated Uzbekistan 16-0.

Harmanpreet Singh was at the forefront of India's goal attack, scoring four goals in the 24th, 39th, 40th and 42nd minutes. Mandeep Singh supported him in this goal tally. He scored a hat-trick by scoring goals in the 12th, 30th and 51st minutes.
