Talking about the match between India and Nepal, India won the toss and decided to bowl first. Nepal, batting first, scored 230 runs for the loss of all wickets in 48.2 overs. This was the first time that a match was played between India and Nepal, but for the first time itself, Nepal made the Indian bowlers sweat. For Nepal, Asif scored 58 runs and all-rounder Sompal Kami played brilliant innings of 48 runs.
