In America, nurse gave water to patients instead of medicine, 10 died, created panic

A nurse in a hospital in Medford, USA, replaced medicine bottles with water bottles. This water was also offered to the patients. Ten patients died due to this. In this case, an employee was accused of stealing medicine and the entire matter was revealed in the investigation. According to the New York Post, a nurse at Asante Regional Medical Center in Medford was found missing a fentanyl intravenous drip containing the painkiller. Instead, the nurse filled the bottles with water instead of medicine. This water was dangerous for the patients. After administering it, the patients' health started deteriorating.

On this, two people filed a complaint against the hospital and said that due to negligence their relatives Samuel Allison (36) and Barry Samston (74) had died. He was given non-sterile water instead of fentanyl.

Police have started an investigation into this matter. Patients indeed died due to negligence in the hospital. However, the police are confirming the case of filling water in the bottle instead of medicine.

Police say that the patients are being interrogated to find out which employees' behaviour is not good. Apart from this, information is also being collected from people associated with healthcare as to what could be the reasons for death. Information has not been received whether anyone has been arrested in this case or not.
