For a refund, you will have to file a TDR. According to IRCTC rules, if the train misses your boarding station, you will have to file TDR within four hours, if it is late then a refund will not be accepted.

File TDR like this:

  • To file TDR through the IRCTC app, you have to open this app and log in to it.
  • After logging in, you have to click on the train option.
  • After this, you will see the option of File TDR.
  • After clicking, you will see the ticket for which you can file TDR.
  • Select that ticket and click on File TDR.
  • After this, choose the reason for which you want to get a refund by filing TDR.
  • Just after this your TDR will be filed and your money will come within 60 days.
