IAF stops Trishul exercise due to G20 summit
Rafale-Sukhoi deployed in security; Spanish President Corona infected, Biden-Sunak will come to India today
The preparations for the G-20 summit to be held in New Delhi from 9 to 10 September have been completed. The process of arrival of guests of G20 members will start from Friday afternoon. This summit will include 19 countries and one European Union. Apart from this, 9 more countries have been invited as guests in the summit.
Meanwhile, there is news that the Indian Air Force has stopped the ongoing Trishul exercise on the China-Pakistan border. According to agency ANI, fighter jets like Rafale, Sukhoi, MiG, Miraj and Chinook involved in the exercise have been deployed for the security of the G20 summit.
On the other hand, Spain's President Pedro Sanchez got corona infected. He will not participate in the G20 summit. In his place, Vice President Nadia Calvino Santamaria and Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Alberes will come to India. British PM Rishi Sunak will arrive in India at 1.40 pm and US President Joe Biden at 6:55 pm.
5 heads of state will reach Delhi today
Today i.e. by the night of 8 September, 5 heads of state of 4 big countries will reach Delhi for the G-20 summit. These include British PM Rishi Sunak. They will reach Delhi at 1.40 pm. Apart from these, Japan's PM Fumio Kishida at 2.15 pm, US President Joe Biden at 6.55 pm, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang at 7.45 pm, UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at 8 pm Will land at the airport at o'clock.
Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Miloni will also reach India today itself. At the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping are not coming to India to attend the G20 Summit. Instead of Putin, his Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will represent Russia.
Guests have reached India for G20 summit
Argentine President Alberto Fernandez arrived in India this morning. At the same time, Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravind Jugnauth and President of Nigeria Ahmed Tinubu have also come earlier. President Ahmed Tinubu was welcomed with Marathi tunes. He has arrived to join the G20 as a guest.
Defense sources said that in the meantime, the Indian Air Force will operate its Falcon AWACS aircraft to keep an eye on the airspace across the country, including Delhi, in view of the G20 summit. It is called the eye of the sky.
Hindon Airbase, Ambala, Sirsa, Bhatinda Defense Airbase, airports built around Delhi have been put on alert mode. Apart from fighter jet Rafale, anti-drone system, the Air Force has deployed missiles that can hit targets at a distance of 70 to 80 kilometers.
Airborne Early Warning and Control Systems are being deployed to detect any unknown aircraft or missile. Airforce's first indigenous surveillance aircraft 'Netra' will monitor the air space of Delhi region.
Helicopters are deployed near Bharat Mandapam for NSG operations in emergency. More than 200 commandos have been trained for such operations.
Guests at G20 will be told – Mile Sur Mera Tumhaara
The only cultural event of the G20 summit will be the Bharat Sangeet Darshanam program to showcase the rich heritage and power of Indian music. This program named 'Gandharva Autodyam' will be of three hours. It will bring together all the traditional instruments used in Hindustani music, Carnatic music and Indian folk music.
78 artistes will play 78 traditional instruments of India. The 78 instruments include 34 Hindustani, 18 Carnatic and 26 folk music instruments. Film tunes will not be used in this. Sur Mera Tumhaara mixed with all 78 instruments will be played at the end.
