Honor is releasing a new 5G phone that can have a 50MP camera and a 5200mAh battery

Honor is planning to bring a new phone to its Honor 200 lineup. The name of this phone is Smart. Honor 200 Smart has appeared on a German retailer site, where its specifications and design have been revealed. A few days ago, the smartphone was also seen on the IMDA database and GCF certification website. This shows that the Honor 200 Smart can be launched soon. At present, the company has not given any update regarding this. But most of the updates about it have come out.

According to the retailer's listing, the Honor 200 Smart will feature a 6.8-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and come with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone has 256GB of onboard storage. The upcoming phone will feature a dual-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the smartphone will have a 5MP front camera.

The new Honor phone will also pack a 5,200mAh battery with 35W fast charging and run on Android 14-based MagicOS 8.0. Other features of the 200 Pro include an IP64 rating, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, NFC, dual speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and support for USB Type-C.

As per those rumors, the Honor 200 Smart will cost 199 euros in Germany and will come in Midnight Black and Forest Green colors. The company has not officially shared any details about the Honor 200 Smart yet, but this smartphone has appeared on the IMDA database and the GCF certification site.

This Honor 200 Smart is reportedly the rebranded Honor Play 60 Plus from China. The design was the same, and, honestly, so were the specifications. The further Chinese variant features an HD+ display and a bigger 6,000mAh battery, but no NFC. It foreshadows that, at some moment in time, the company will bring this very Honor Play 60 Plus globally under different names.
