India has asked the Canadian government to take strict action against the vandalism of Hindu temples and the promotion of Khalistani propaganda.
In fact, some Khalistan supporters in Canada's British Columbia province have vandalized a Hindu temple. This incident is being told of Saturday night, whose video has been captured in the CCTV camera installed in the temple. After vandalizing the temple, the anarchists passed posters of the Khalistan referendum on the main gate of the temple while leaving. In the video that surfaced, it can be seen that two people enter the temple with their faces covered, one of them wearing a blue turban is seen pasting posters of the Khalistani referendum on the main gate of the temple.
According to an India Today report, the miscreants put up posters with pictures of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, leader of the separatist group Khalistan Tiger Force, who was killed by two unidentified men on June 18.
Significantly, this is the third incident of attack on Hindu temples in Canada. Earlier on 31 January 2023, a major Hindu temple in Brampton, Canada was targeted by Khalistan supporters. This was followed in April by another Hindu temple vandalized in Ontario.
