The Iran-backed armed organization Hezbollah has been continuously attacking Israel in support of Gaza's organization Hamas since October 8, 2023. Israel is also continuously retaliating on the organization's bases in Lebanon.

The Israeli army reported on Monday that air strikes had caused significant damage to several Hezbollah targets, as well as the death of their commander, Ali Hussain Sabra. Meanwhile, Saeed Abyar, the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard tasked with advising the Syrian government, has been killed. The Iranian news agency SNN blamed Israel for the murder.

The Israeli government's number one priority is to destroy Hamas. Along with this, the government wants the hostages safely returned from Gaza. This was stated by Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He stated that as Prime Minister, he is working to achieve both goals, but as leader of the coalition government, he is also under pressure from the allies. Many times, difficulties arise in implementing the decisions taken unanimously in the War Cabinet.

Itamar Ben-Gvir, the leader of the extreme right-wing party in the Israeli government and National Security Minister, has said that Prime Minister Netanyahu is whitewashing to implement the US President's Gaza plan. He is slowing down the war in Gaza.

Meanwhile, 11 people have been killed in the latest attacks by the Israeli army in Gaza. Of these, seven people including a woman have been killed in the Nuseirat refugee camp and four people including three children have been killed in the Burej refugee camp. Israeli army action is also continuing in Rafah.
