A helicopter has crashed near Bavdhan in Pune district. Pimpri Chinchwad police officer said that three persons feared dead in the accident. Relief and rescue work has been started on the spot. Ambulances have also reached the spot. The reason for the accident is not clear yet. However it is being said that the accident may have happened due to fog or technical fault. A helicopter had, also, met with an accident in Paud village of Pune district on August 24.

The Pimpri Chinchwad police said it happened at 6.45 am in the hilly area of ​​​​Bavdhan area. "Helicopter crashed at Bavdhan area of ​​​​Pune district. Three people are feared dead as per preliminary information," said Senior Inspector Kanhaiya Thorat of Hinjewadi Police Station, however whose helicopter it is, is yet to be ascertained as it is on fire.

The private helicopter was coming from Mumbai to Hyderabad and crashed in Pune on August 24. In all, there were four passengers inside the helicopter. On the private helicopter crash, Pune Superintendent of Police Pankaj Deshmukh had informed that the incident happened in the Paud village of Pune district. The private helicopter belonged to an aviation company.

Pune Rural Superintendent of Police had said the helicopter crashed around 2:15 pm on Saturday due to sudden jolts in the air. The pilot and three passengers sustained minor injuries. Bad weather was suspected to be the reason behind the accident. In Kondhavale village, the chopper crashed after 2 pm. Locals immediately started the rescue operation. The police further said that when the helicopter took off from Mumbai, the weather was good then but as soon as it reached the Paud area, it started facing difficulties. Rain was on in these ways since previous night. Pilot tried to land the helicopter; it collided with an acacia tree and then crashed on the ground. The crew comprised Captain Anand, Veer Bhatia, Amar Deep Singh, and SP Ram.
