The severity of cold is now gradually decreasing in most of the states of the country. However, winter havoc continues in many areas including eastern UP. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department has predicted rain in some parts of the country. According to IMD, there is a possibility of rain in many areas including the Western Himalayan region from Monday to February 3. Apart from this, severe cold along with severe fog will continue in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar for the next two days. After that, there is a possibility of gradual improvement in the weather.

The Weather Forecast Agency informed in its daily bulletin that two consecutive western disturbances can affect North-West India from January 30 and the second from February 3. According to the Meteorological Department, from January 30 to February 2, there may be snowfall along with light rain in some areas of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana and Western UP. Apart from this, if we talk about the first week of February, there will be light rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh.

At the same time, in some areas of UP, Bihar, Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh and MP, the minimum temperature will remain between 6 to 9 degrees, while in Rajasthan it is expected to be 8 to 10 degrees. At the same time, the temperature in some parts of Western UP and Bihar is 3 to 6 degrees below normal. Whereas in Haryana, Chandigarh, Western Uttar Pradesh, Eastern Madhya Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal and North Chhattisgarh the temperature is between 1-3 degrees Celsius.
