Government principal did dirty work for 6 years: 142 female students were robbed of their dignity, this is how it was exposed
A shocking incident has come to light from the Jind district of Haryana. A government school principal has been accused of sexually harassing 142 minor girl students.
An incident has come to light in Haryana which tears apart the relationship between guru and disciple. The principal of a government school in Jind has been accused of sexually harassing 142 minor girls for six years. Dozens of female students had complained of sexual harassment against the principal to President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chief Justice of India, the National Commission for Women, and the State Commission for Women. The police have now arrested the accused principal. On the matter, the Deputy Commissioner said that the investigation was conducted by a team of three (district) officers of the rank of Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), and the principal was found prima facie guilty. Now charge sheet will be prepared against the accused.
Giving information about the matter, a senior officer said that the investigation committee led by a senior officer has the statements of 390 girls, out of which 142 students alleged that the principal sexually harassed them. Not only this, some students said that they have also seen terrible acts happening to their schoolmates.
On August 31, about 15 girls wrote letters to President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, National Women's Commission and State Women's Commission, and others, making them aware of their pain regarding the alleged acts. After this, the Haryana Women's Commission took cognizance of the letter on Principal on 13 September. The next day, Jind police were sent for action.
