It's been repeated through tips to avoid cyber scams that people should be cautious while searching for customer care numbers, medicine, and helpline numbers through Google; otherwise, you can become a victim of fraud. A similar case has come to light from Ludhiana.

Ludhiana: As per the report, the person from Ludhiana had searched for the number for the franchise of Domino's Pizza on Google. On Google, this 48-year-old victim found a website claiming to give a franchise of Domino's Pizza. On the website, this victim provided all types of information through a form.

After this, a call came in which the franchise was claimed by a franchise. The caller was asked to pay Rs 20.77 lakh for the franchise on the call. The victim trusted the caller and transferred the money. After making full payment, the person at the other end of the phone switched off his phone. It was only after this that the person realized he had been cheated. A complaint has been lodged with the cyber police in this regard.
