Gadar-2 broke the record of Bahubali-2: became the second biggest Hindi film; Total collection was ₹511 crore
Gadar-2 has broken the record of Bahubali-2. The film has achieved this feat after 29 days of its release. The total collection of the film has reached Rs 511 crore. With this it has become the second highest collecting Hindi film.

Shahrukh Khan's Pathan is at number one. Pathan had a lifetime collection of Rs 543 crore. Accordingly, Gadar-2 will still have to earn Rs 35 crore to reach Pathan's record.
The second biggest film in Hindi film history
The Hindi version of Baahubali 2 had a lifetime collection of Rs 510.99 crore. The record created by this film, released in 2017, could not be broken for five years. At one time it seemed that its record could not be broken. However, Shahrukh Khan's film Pathan was released in 2023.
This film not only broke the record of Baahubali 2 but also surpassed it. Who knew that another film would be released in 2023 which would break the record of Bahubali-2. Sunny Deol's Gadar-2 has achieved this feat in just 29 days.
Had it been released solo, the film could have broken Pathan's record.
Trade experts estimated that if Gadar 2 was released solo and the film got more screens, it could have broken Pathan's record. Gadar-2 was initially released on 4000 screens. Whereas Pathan opened on 5500 screens. Pathan was a single release film, while Gadar-2 clashed with Akshay Kumar's film OMG-2.
Gadar 2's earnings stopped after the arrival of new films
After the release of new films, the earnings of Gadar-2 have stopped. The film has collected one crore rupees on Friday. The screen count has been reduced. Gadar-2 has reduced 100 screens in a single day in Bengal.
